While the Office of Research Security & Trade Compliance provides guidance on necessary permits for the import of biological items, there are other offices with whom you may need to work, depending on what type of biological you are trying to import:
- Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S)
- Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)
- Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
These departments may also need to review and approve your material transfer agreement in the MyRA system.
